Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to using the site, requesting quotes and holding an account.
01
Accepting These Terms
Using this site, requesting a quote or opening an account means you accept these terms in full. If any part of them does not sit right with you, the site should not be used.
02
What This Site Offers
I work as an auto insurance consultant. This site offers guidance, quote requests and coverage information so you understand the cover you are taking on. It is not a rate shopping or quote comparison service, and your details are never sold or passed along as sales leads. Nothing on the site on its own creates, binds or issues an insurance policy.
03
Who Can Use the Site
To use the site you need to live in the United States and be at least the age of majority in your state. Sending a request confirms that this is true and that the details you give are accurate.
04
Your Account Details
Keeping your account details private is down to you, along with whatever happens under them. If you think someone has used your account without permission, let me know through the contact page as soon as you can.
05
Quotes and Coverage Estimates
Quotes and coverage notes are estimates built on what you share, and they can shift once a request is reviewed and confirmed. Final terms, pricing and availability are settled before any cover takes effect.
06
Permission to Reach You
Sending a request lets me reply to you by email or phone about that request. Text messages work differently. They only go to a number where you have ticked the marketing opt in on the signup form, and a reply of STOP ends them at any time. Agreeing to messages is never a condition of getting a quote or coverage.
07
SMS Terms and Conditions
By submitting your mobile number and ticking the opt in, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages from JohnsRide at the number provided, about its consulting services, policy review invitations, and car insurance tips. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to request a quote or purchase any product or service.
Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You will get one last message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and nothing further is sent unless you opt in again. You can also email john.kary@johnsride.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line to opt out.
The text messaging service supports the following carriers: AT&T, Boost, MetroPCS®, Sprint, T-Mobile®, US Cellular®, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Text message consent is optional and is not required to open an account or receive a quote. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
If you have any questions or concerns, please write to john.kary@johnsride.com.
08
Acceptable Use
I ask that you do not send false or misleading information, interfere with the security or normal running of the site, try to reach accounts or data that belong to other people, or use the site for anything unlawful.
09
Ownership of Site Material
The content, layout, logos and material on this site are protected and should not be copied, reproduced or reused without permission, apart from the personal and non commercial use the site is built for.
10
Services Run by Others
The site may rely on or link to services run by others. Those services carry their own terms, and I do not control or promise their availability or accuracy.
11
No Warranties Given
The site and its content come as they are, without warranties of any kind, whether stated or implied. I put real effort into keeping things accurate, yet I cannot guarantee they are complete or fit for a particular purpose.
12
Limits on Liability
So far as the law allows, I accept no liability for indirect, incidental or knock on losses that follow from using the site or leaning on its content. Using the site is your own choice and your own risk.
13
Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute that grows out of using this site or its services is meant to be settled through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where the law says otherwise. Disputes are handled one on one, and class or group proceedings are set aside as far as the law permits. Taking part in arbitration does not strip away the right to raise a matter with a government agency where that right exists.
14
Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms now and then. The date shown above marks when the current version took effect, and staying on the site after a change means the newer version applies.
15
Governing Law
These terms follow the laws of the state where the service is based, without regard to conflict of law rules, and apply as fully as the law allows.
16
Questions About These Terms
Any questions about these terms can be sent to john.kary@johnsride.com or raised through the contact page.
